Islamia College Peshawar, the government university located in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, issued the Taliban order. In this, there is a complete ban on any kind of study or other kind of conversation of female students with male teachers.
The order has been issued by Dr. Aamir Ullah Khan, Chairman of the Political Science Department of Islamia College Peshawar. In this, not only has a ban been imposed on all kinds of conversations of female students with male teachers, but in the order it has also been said that neither female students will be able to go to the offices of male teachers nor male students will be able to go to the offices of female teachers.
What is said in this Taliban order?
In its Taliban order, the government educational institution of Pakistan said that if it is very important for a student to talk to a male teacher or a student to have a female teacher, then a no objection certificate will be required from the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Sohail Afridi or the Chancellor who is the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the Taliban order of Islamia College Peshawar, it was claimed that the order has been issued for the welfare of the students and on the orders of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi – Chancellor. Pakistan has already been facing international criticism regarding women’s education, freedom of expression and minority rights, but now the way the anti-women order has been passed is enough to show the condition of women in Pakistan.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is very backward in terms of women’s education.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan is also very backward in terms of women’s education and the literacy rate of women in this province is only 37 percent and the literacy rate of women in entire Pakistan is only 52 percent.
After becoming the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in October last year, 36-year-old Suhail Afridi is doing every work in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which was once opposed by his party chief former Chief Minister Imran Khan.
Before becoming Prime Minister and during his tenure as Prime Minister, Imran Khan used to talk about bringing women on par with men. Used to talk about stopping bad practices. Under the rule of Suhail Afridi, the oldest college of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has banned female students from talking to male teachers.
Terrorist training camps being prepared under the rule of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi
Similarly, Imran Khan had closed the terrorist camp of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen located in Guldheri locality of Garhi Habibullah area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province under the National Action Plan, while after Sohail Afridi became the Chief Minister, a training camp of Lashkar-e-Taiba has been prepared in Kumban Maidan area of Lower Dir.
Jaish-e-Mohammed’s training camp has started operating in Mansehra. The camp located in Hangu is preparing terrorists, besides the camp of Hizbul Mujahideen is also under construction in Maidan Bandai area of Lower Dir.
Similarly, just to show it to the world, Imran Khan had put terrorists Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar under house arrest and banned public activities under the National Action Plan.
Under the rule of Sohail Afridi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has not only become a base for Lashkar and Jaish.
