BAN vs AFG 3rd ODI: This Afghanistan batsman created havoc, scored 43 runs in the last 10 balls, Bangladesh bowlers were stunned!

BAN vs AFG 3rd ODI: The third ODI match between Afghanistan vs Bangladesh was played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. In this match, the explosive batting of Afghanistan’s experienced all-rounder Mohammad Nabi stunned the Bangladesh bowlers. Nabi scored 43 runs in the last 10 balls, helping Afghanistan convert an average score into a match-winning total.

Scored 43 runs in 10 balls

Till the 48th over, Afghanistan’s score was 9 wickets for 249 runs. It seemed that the team would reach only 260-265, but Nabi’s attitude was different. Only 1 run was scored at the beginning of the 49th over, after which due to the injury of Nahid Rana, the bowling had to be changed and the ball was handed over to Mehndi Hasan Miraj. Miraj started becoming a victim of Nabi’s storm as soon as it arrived. Nabi hit three consecutive sixes in his over, some wide balls were also hit in between, and by the end of the over, 25 runs were scored.

After this Hasan Mahmood bowled the last over, but Nabi did not stop there either. He scored 19 runs in this over by hitting fours and sixes. In this way, a total of 44 runs were scored in the last 10 balls, out of which 38 runs were scored by Nabi alone.

62 runs in 37 balls, Nabi’s stormy style

Nabi played an unbeaten inning of 62 runs in just 37 balls. During this, he hit 5 sixes and 4 fours. His innings proved to be a trouble-shooter for Afghanistan. The team was in trouble at one time, but Nabi handled the innings and took the score to 293 runs.

Earlier, the foundation of Afghanistan’s innings was laid by Ibrahim Zadran (95 runs) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (42 runs). Both gave a strong start to the team, but the run rate slowed down due to the fall of wickets in the middle overs. In such a situation, the prophet changed the game as soon as he arrived.

Bangladesh’s shameful defeat

After Nabi’s storm, Bangladesh’s entire bowling got disorganized. Bangladesh team, which came to chase the target, appeared under pressure even while batting. Their entire team could score only 93 runs and was all out in the 28th over. Afghanistan won this match by a huge margin of 200 runs.
