Banks will remain closed in these states on 18th and 19th February
If you are thinking of going to the bank on 18th or 19th February, then first know that on these two days, there will be holidays not in the entire country but in selected states. Banks will remain closed only in Sikkim on 18th February. Where branches will not open due to Losar festival, normal functioning will continue in other states.
The next day i.e. on 19th February, banks will remain closed in Maharashtra on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. But banks will remain open in other parts of the country. Therefore, if you live in these states, you should avoid going to the bank on this day.
Where will banks remain closed on 20th and 22nd February?
Banking services will remain affected in some states in the coming days of the week also. Banks will remain closed in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on 20th February on the occasion of State Foundation Day. Whereas work will continue as normal in the rest of the country.
Due to 22nd February being Sunday, all bank branches across the country will remain closed. In such a situation, if you have any bank related work on these dates, it would be better to settle it well in advance.
