UCO Bank has issued a big recruitment notification for the youth who are dreaming of making a career in the banking sector. The bank has issued notification for recruitment to the posts of Generalist and Specialist Officer. This recruitment will be done under Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I) and Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II). A total of 173 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. The special thing is that this recruitment includes many important posts related to banking, finance, accounting and IT, due to which candidates with different educational backgrounds will get an opportunity.
The online application process for this recruitment of UCO Bank has started from 13 January 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till 2 February 2026. Applications will be accepted in online mode only. This recruitment can prove to be a good opportunity for the candidates who are graduates, chartered accountants or come from engineering and IT background. On which posts recruitment is taking place?
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 173 posts of Generalist and Specialist Officers will be filled in UCO Bank. These include posts like Trade Finance Officer, Treasury Officer, Chartered Accountant, Network Administrator, Database and System Administrator, Software Developer, Cloud Engineer, AI and ML Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist and Cyber Security Officer. What educational qualification is required?
Different qualifications and experience have been fixed for each post. For Trade Finance Officer, it is necessary to have MBA or PGDM along with graduation and at least one year experience is also required. For Treasury Officer, MBA along with graduation is required and the candidate should have at least three years of banking or treasury experience.
For the post of Chartered Accountant, it is necessary to have CA pass from ICAI. One year experience is mandatory for junior scale and three years experience for middle scale. For IT and technical posts, one must have a degree in B.Tech, BE, MCA or Computer Science and at least one year of experience. At the same time, for data related posts, a degree in Data Science, IT or Statistics and three years of experience has been sought.
What is the age limit?
The age of the candidates will be calculated as on 1 January 2026. The age limit for JMGS-I posts has been fixed at 20 to 30 years, while for MMGS-II posts the age limit has been fixed at 22 to 35 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules. SC and ST category will get relaxation of 5 years, OBC will get 3 years and disabled candidates will get 10 years.
How much salary will you get?
Selected officers in UCO Bank will get attractive salary and many types of allowances. Candidates selected in JMGS-I scale will get a basic pay of around Rs 48,480, which can increase with time to around Rs 85,920. Whereas MMGS-II scale officers will get a basic pay of Rs 64,820, which can later go up to Rs 93,960.
