The administration’s action is continuing in the Bareilly violence case. In this series, on Saturday, Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) took major action against the close ones of Maulana Tauqeer Raza, accused of the disturbance. Illegal shops and showrooms located on Pilibhit Bypass Road were sealed.
It was told that all these businesses were being operated without map approval. During the administrative action, an atmosphere of chaos was seen in the area. There was panic among the local people. An employee of Bareilly Development Authority told news agency IANS that this action has been taken against illegal construction and commercial establishments running without approval.

In this matter, an officer further said that we have sealed a total of 17 shops of Mohammad Arif, close to Maulana Tauqeer Raza. Earlier, the administration had bulldozed the illegal wedding procession of Dr. Nafees Khan, another close associate of Maulana Tauqeer Raza, the main accused in the violence.
The administration has made it clear that strict action will continue against the illegal properties of those involved in violence and unrest. In the investigation so far in the Bareilly riots case, the police have registered a case against 126 named people, out of which 83 accused have been arrested.
Police raid continues to catch absconding accused
The police is continuously raiding in search of other accused. It is noteworthy that after the Friday prayers on September 26, there was a situation of tension in the city. A large number of people had gathered carrying posters of ‘I Love Mohammed’.
During this time, after some people protested, the atmosphere deteriorated and stone pelting started between the two sides. The police had to resort to lathi charge to bring the situation under control. After the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given instructions to take strict action against those involved in the violence.
