Coach Dinesh Lad expressed deep disappointment over Rohit Sharma’s retirement and said that it is very sad to go to Test cricket like Rohit. His batting style was ideal for Test cricket. Rohit’s dream was to always win the World Cup for India, but when the team could not qualify, he took a difficult decision of retirement.

On the retirement of Virat Kohli , coach Lad also expressed deep condolences. He said that Virat’s technology and his centuries have always been important in the victory of Indian cricket. Lad, describing both the players as the pillar of Indian cricket, said that the combination of Rohit and Virat was fantastic on the ground.
