The new song of Battle of Galwan has been released, but this track does not live up to the expectations. Despite Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal’s powerful vocals, Himesh Reshammiya’s music, Sameer Sahab’s writing and Salman Khan’s star power, this song does not give the impact that the teaser had created.
After watching the teaser, there was an expectation that Salman Khan will once again bring high-level energy, but Salman looks quite lazy and disinterested in the song. His expressions lack the spark that a superstar should have, and the lack of energy in this song is clearly visible.
The name of the song is “Matribhumi” and its theme is based on patriotism, but it is neither able to create any emotional connect in the audio nor in the video. The strategy of releasing it before January 26 was probably expected to go viral on patriotic vibe, but that effect did not come.
Maybe this is just a standalone song and it would look better in the film, but for now this song has proved to be a big disappointment. Despite the high expectations of the fans, this track seems quite flat and uninspiring.
