Who will be the next president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)? This question is once again in the discussion because an important meeting is to be held in Delhi before the BCCI’s Annual General Meeting (BCCI AGM 2025). It is expected that it will be clear who will take over the responsibility of the post of President of BCCI.
Before the annual general meeting, an important meeting is to be held in Delhi on Saturday, 20 September. This meeting will be held at the residence of Home Minister Amit Shah. Of course, it is expected that the name of the next president of BCCI will be decided in it, but the final decision will be officially in the AGM meeting itself. New selectors will also be decided in the AGM meeting.
Please tell that after the end of Roger Binny’s tenure, this post is vacant. Binny had to step down due to completion of 70 years of age. Binny became the BCCI President in October 2022. The maximum age of the Speaker in the BCCI constitution is 70 years.

AGM will also have new selectors fixed
The BCCI has also started the interview process for national selectors. Members of the Interview Cricket Advisory Committee, Ashok Malhotra and Jatin Paranjpe are taking. 7 new selectors will be selected from this process. Ajit Agarkar -led Men’s Selection Committee, 2 in Mahila Samiti and 1 new selector in Junior Committee will begin after the Annual General Meeting on 28 September.
BCCI President’s claimant
The name of former president and former captain Sourav Ganguly is also under discussion. Apart from him, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, former Test cricketer Raghuram Bhatt and former wicket -keeper Kiran More are also in discussion.
