According to a cricbing news, many important decisions have been taken in the meeting. In this, exemption has been given for the use of saliva on the ball. The BCCI had banned the use of saliva on the first ball. Along with this, another big rule has changed. During the match, a rule has been made about the second ball. Under this, the second ball will come after the 11th over of the second innings of the IPL match. This rule has been brought in view of the effect of dew at night.
When and why the use of saliva was banned –
In fact, the Board of Control for Cricket in India had banned the use of saliva on the ball due to the corona virus. The ICC also banned it. But now this rule has been changed. Indian cricket team fast bowler Mohammed Shami had demanded the removal of the ban on the use of saliva in the past.
