IPL 2025 Foreign Players Update: Revised schedule of IPL 2025 has been released. The IPL was stopped due to Indo-Pak tension, but now this league will be played again from May 17. According to the report of the news agency PTI, the Cricket Board of India is pressurizing the foreign board to send its players back. The report said, BCCI and IPL teams are pressurizing the foreign board to send their players for the IPL starting from May 17. However, India and Pakistan are still worried about security due to military conflict.

Top officials of BCCI have asked IPL COO Hemang Amin to remove security related concerns by talking to Cricket Australia and England and Wales Cricket Board themselves. The league was postponed on 9 May due to military confrontation between India and Pakistan. A day later, after the announcement of the ceasefire, the path of restoration of IPL was paved.

A BCCI official said, “We are talking to the foreign board privately while the team is directly in touch with its players.” We hope that most of the players will return. Please tell that Cricket Australia has left the decision to return to India or not to the players.

Team officials told PTI that some foreign players are still apprehensive about the return but most are likely to return. Kasi Vishwanath, CEO of Chennai Super Kings, said, the revised program has been announced last night. We are contacting our foreign players. Only after this the picture will be cleared. Our match is on May 20, so there is a long time.

The Australian all -rounder of Punjab Kings Marcus Stoinis and Josh England are expected to return. However, head coach Ricky Ponting is trying to convince him. Australia’s Xavier Bartlet, Aaron Hardy, Afghanistan’s Ajmatullah Umarjai and Marco Yansen in South Africa may return.

Chennai and Sunrisers Hyderabad are out of the playoff race while Punjab can reach the playoffs. Sunrisers are expected to return to captain Pat Cummins and Travis Head.
