India Cricket Schedule 2026-27: Team India’s home series schedule for the next one year has been revealed. Within the next 12 months, teams from Australia, West Indies, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will tour India. During this period, Team India will play a total of 22 matches in 17 different cities. BCCI has released this schedule for September 2026-February 2027. But before that, Team India also has to play an ODI series with Afghanistan at home.
When the schedule comes, Indian fans will also be interested to know how often their favorite players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be seen playing in the next one year. Here, note down all the dates when Virat and Rohit will be seen playing.
When will Virat and Rohit play?
Since Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma now play only ODI matches, hence after IPL 2026, Virat and Rohit can be seen playing in the series against Afghanistan for the first time on Indian pitches. India-Afghanistan series will run from 14-20 June. After that the West Indies team will come on India tour, where it has to play a series of 3 ODI matches with Team India.
After that the Sri Lankan team will come to India, it also has to play a series of 3 ODI matches against Team India. There will be a series of 3 ODI matches between Zimbabwe and India in the beginning of the year 2027.

- 20 June – India vs Afghanistan – 3rd ODI – Chennai
- 27 September – India vs West Indies – 1st ODI – Trivandrum
- 30 September – India vs West Indies – 2nd ODI – Guwahati
- 3 October – India vs West Indies – 3rd ODI – New Chandigarh
- 13 December – India vs Sri Lanka – 1st ODI – Delhi
- 16 December – India vs Sri Lanka – 2nd ODI – Bengaluru
- 19 December – India vs Sri Lanka – 3rd ODI – Ahmedabad
- 3 January – India vs Zimbabwe – 1st ODI – Kolkata
- 6 January – India vs Zimbabwe – 2nd ODI – Hyderabad
- 9 January – India vs Zimbabwe – 3rd ODI – Mumbai
This means that the Indian team is going to play only 12 ODI matches in the next 12 months on its home grounds. If Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma play in all these matches, then they will also be able to play a maximum of 12 matches within the next one year.
