BCCI released the year-long schedule of Team India, know which series when and with whom.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the international schedule of Team India for the next 12 months. BCCI has announced the dates of all the home series and within the next one year, India has to host Australia, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Team India has to play a total of 22 matches at home within the next one year, which will be played in 17 cities.

This domestic season of Team India will start with the white ball series against West Indies. The West Indies team’s tour of India will run from 27 September to 17 October, during which 3 ODIs and 5 T20 matches will be played between the two teams. After about 2 months, the Sri Lankan team will come to India to play, where a series of three ODI and T20 matches will be played from 13-27 December.

In the month of January 2027, Zimbabwe team will visit India, which will have to play three ODI matches from 3-9 January. The Australian team will come to India at the end of January. A series of five test matches will be played between the two top teams from 21 January to 27 February.

India’s schedule (home series)

West Indies tour of India: 27 September-17 October – 3 ODIs and five T20s

Sri Lanka tour of India: 13 December-27 December – 3 ODIs and 3 T20s

Zimbabwe tour of India: January 3-January 9 – 3 ODIs

Australia tour of India: 21 January-27 February – 5 Tests

Since India has to play only one home Test series in the next one year, due to which its hopes of playing the WTC final seem to be fading. The Indian team is currently at sixth position in the points table of the World Test Championship.

Let us tell you that just before the West Indies, the Indian team has to play an ODI series and a Test match against Afghanistan. After that, Team India will go to Ireland to play T20 series and from there will leave for England, where it has to play ODI and T20 series.
