Bcci on rcb parade stampede: The Victory Parade and Grand Celebration were prepared outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium for the IPL 2025 champion team Royal Challengers Bangalore. There was a stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium before the team arrived. Now BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has issued a statement on this unfortunate incident. He described this incident as unfortunate and has expressed condolences to the people who lost their lives in the stampede.
Expressing anger over the incident, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said, “This is unfortunate. It is a negative aspect of popularity. People are crazy for cricketers. The organizers should have prepared better. I express condolences to the families of people who lost their lives in the incident. I hope that whoever is injured will be healthy soon.”
Devjit Saikia said in his statement that when such a large level of event is being held, then special preparations and security should be taken care of. The BCCI Secretary said that something was relaxed somewhere, the result of which has been an accident.
Rajiv Shukla’s statement
Talking to news agency ANI on the other hand, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla said that the government had already canceled the roadshow, so that an accident could be avoided. He further said that no one had expected such an accident outside the stadium. Rajiv Shukla urged everyone that united and work should be done to bring the damage under control.
