BCCI gave a big hint

On Rohit Sharma’s retirement, Rajiv Shukla said, “Rohit Sharma has made a big contribution in advancing Test cricket. The more we praise him. The good thing is that he has not said goodbye to cricket yet.”

Rajiv Shukla further said in his statement that the BCCI will further try to take full advantage of his experience and talent. The BCCI vice -president has greeted Rohit for his future. Since Rajiv Shukla said that the BCCI will continue to take advantage of Rohit’s experience even further, it can be considered a sign that ‘Hitman’ can still serve the Indian team in ODI cricket for a long time.

In such a situation, it is possible that Rohit Sharma can continue to play till 2027 ODI Cricket World Cup. It will lead to 2028 Los Angeles Olympics next year, in which the T20 format will be played, but Rohit has already said goodbye to the smallest format.
