Before the Bihar Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, known as Chanakya of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), took a tremendous initiative in the state which has been successful. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was on a tour of Bihar for the last three days, during which he talked to the rebel leaders of the party and forced them to withdraw their nominations.

In fact, after not getting tickets from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Bihar Assembly elections, many workers and leaders of the party rebelled and entered the electoral fray by nominating Prashant Kishor’s party Jan Suraj or as an independent candidate on different assembly seats of the state.

Amit Shah met rebels in Patna

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was on a tour of Bihar, took the initiative to convince the rebels and contacted them. Amit Shah held meetings with the rebels till late night in Bihar’s capital Patna and explained to them.

At the same time, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also fielded many of its prominent leaders to hold talks with the rebel candidates. Whose big impact has also been seen. After talks under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the rebels have withdrawn their nominations from about half a dozen seats in the Bihar Assembly.

vip Candidate Sakaldev Bind supported Samrat Chaudhary

Meanwhile, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) candidate from Munger’s Tarapur Assembly seat, Sakaldev Bind, on Monday (October 20, 2025) has extended his support to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Samrat Chaudhary. Sakaldev Bind joined BJP and announced his support to Samrat Chaudhary. It is noteworthy that Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary as its candidate from Tarapur Assembly seat of Munger.
