The investigating agencies have found another important evidence in the Delhi car blast case. A new video of Dr. Omar, the main accused in the blast and a terrorist resident of Jammu and Kashmir, has surfaced. This video has made the whole case more serious, because in it Umar is seen directly advocating suicide bombing.
According to sources, this video was recorded by Omar himself before the blast. The investigation team believes that this video reflects Omar’s thinking, plans and radical ideology. This also indicates that he was preparing for such an attack for a long time.
What did Omar say in the video?
In the video, Omar says, “The biggest mistake is that people do not understand what suicide bombing (or suicide bombing) actually means. It is not democratic in any way, nor can it be accepted in any civilized society. There are many contradictions and many arguments against it.”
Omar further says, “The biggest issue with suicide attacks is that when a person believes that he is definitely going to die at a certain time and place, he enters into a dangerous mindset. He puts himself in a situation where he believes that death is his only destination.”
He further said, “But the reality is that such thinking or such situation cannot be accepted in any democratic and humane system, because it is against the basic principles of life, society and law.”
What did Umar’s mother tell the investigation team?
During interrogation in the investigation, Umar’s mother revealed that she had suspected for a long time that her son was inclined towards fundamentalist thinking. He did not remain in contact with his family for many days. Some time before the blast, he had clearly told his family not to call him. Despite this, the family never informed the police about this changing behavior of Umar.
Umar was a resident of Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.
Investigation had revealed that Umar, who was killed in the Delhi blast, was a resident of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. He was a doctor by profession, but was secretly actively associated with a module of Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Before the blast, the police had arrested many members of his gang. About 2900 kg of explosives were recovered from their possession, which clearly shows that this gang was preparing for major attacks.
