Ahaan Pandey was elected for Ajay Devgan’s film before “Saira”
Let me tell you that Ahaan, who played a strong role of emerging rockstar Krish Kapoor in ‘Saira’ directed by Mohit Suri, was initially launched as an Asistand Director in Netflix’s YRF Minisaries “The Railway Men”. However, before that, he was selected for a superhero film under the YRF banner.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the project was a multipart superhero Saga with Ahaan was the lead role and Ajay Devgan was in the role of Villain. Former Miss World Manushi Chillar was also cast in it. According to the report, a source said in 2020, “It is true that Ahaan Pandey and Ajay Devgan will be seen together. Ajay is playing the role of a villain in this film, which will be grand and exciting. A superhero will be part of the series and there will be a new villain in every part.”
Why could not become Ahaan’s film with Ajay?
Despite the ring, the film could not move beyond pre-production. Then in the year 2021, Ajay Devgan had allegedly pulled out of the film citing the problem of scheduling, as Kovid-19 disturbed many of his pending projects. After Ajay was canceled with Ajay, Ahaan changed his stand and joined the Railway Main with director Shiva Rawail as an assistant director.
After the release of the show in November 2023, Ahaan also shared an emotional post remembering the time spent on the set on Instagram. ‘Saira’ is a strong opening
At the same time, Ahaan Pandey has made his Bollywood debut with ‘Saira’. The film has been released in theaters on July 18 and it has discharged all the films at the box office. Talking about Saira’s Opening Day Collection, according to the Early Trend Report of Caiknilk, the film has grossed 20 crores on the first day of its release.
Along with this, it has dusted 26 films of 2025 including Ajay Devgan’s Red 2, Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force and Aamir Khan’s stars on the ground. Let me tell you that ‘Saira’ is directed by Mohit Suri and the film is with Ahan Pandey’s romantic couple Anit Padda.
