Sunrisers Hyderabad posted on social media and once again announced handing over the captaincy to Pat Cummins. Cummins became the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad dropped a total of eight players from the team including star fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Shami has been traded from Hyderabad to Lucknow Super Giants.
