The weather pattern has changed in North India. With the onset of pink cold, fog has started in Delhi-NCR in the morning, while there is bright sunshine in the afternoon. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will remain the same on Saturday (October 18, 2025) also. It is becoming mildly cold in the evening in entire North India including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab.
The weather is expected to remain dry for 5 days in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any major weather change till October 20, although it may be partly cloudy at times, but there is no possibility of rain. Due to northwest winds, the temperature will drop rapidly, due to which the nights will feel colder.
UP weather on Dhanteras
According to the information received from the Zonal Weather Center located in Amausi, Lucknow, the weather will be dry in all the 75 districts of UP today on Dhanteras. During this period, except morning and night time, the weather is going to be normal in the rest of the time. However, there is a possibility of fog at some places.
heat in many districts of bihar
At present the sky is clear in Bihar adjacent to UP, but the movement of clouds may continue till Diwali. However, the Meteorological Department has not issued any rain alert. Still, there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in some districts. Due to strong sunlight during the day, it is becoming hot in many districts like Patna, Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga and Begusarai.
It will rain in Madhya Pradesh
The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain with thunder in parts of Madhya Pradesh today. Due to continuous seasonal activities, the minimum temperature in Indore has gone below 17 degrees Celsius, due to which one is feeling quite cold. According to IMD, the maximum temperature is expected to decrease further by Diwali.
How is the weather in the mountains
Talking about the mountains, IMD has predicted movement of clouds at some high altitude places and light rain and snowfall at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh between October 24 and 30. An alert has been issued for light to moderate rain in Uttarakhand in the next one to two days. There is a possibility of increase in cold after rain.
