Behavior of Indian players is wrong, will raise issue with ICC, Mohsin Naqvi’s jackal barking

Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board and Asian Cricket Council, Mohsin Naqvi has said that Indian players were misbehaving towards Pakistani players during the Under-19 Asia Cup final and he will raise this issue with the International Cricket Council.

Mohsin Naqvi said that during the Under-19 Asia Cup final, Indian players kept provoking Pakistani players. Pakistan will officially inform the ICC about this incident. Politics and sports should always be kept separate from each other.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, who mentored the Pakistan cricket team in the Under-19 Asia Cup, said, “India’s behavior during the game was inappropriate, and was against the spirit of cricket. Despite this, we celebrated our victory in the spirit of the game. Cricket should always be played in the spirit of the game.”

Sarfaraz Ahmed was the first to raise the issue related to the sportsmanship of Indian players.

After the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, distance was seen on the field for the first time during the Asia Cup between the players of India and Pakistan. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav did not shake hands with Pakistani captain Salman Ali Aga during the toss. After this, Indian players also did not shake hands with Pakistani players after the match. After winning the Asia Cup, the Indian team had even refused to accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi.

The stand of the Indian team remained the same in the Under-19 Asia Cup also. Indian players did not shake hands with Pakistani players.

Under-19 Asia 2025 has recently concluded in Dubai. India had defeated Pakistan in the league stage, but the Indian team had to face defeat in the final match held on 21 December. Pakistan had given India a target of 348 runs. The Indian team was reduced to 156 and lost the title match by 191 runs.
