Chinnaswamy stadium crowd tragedy: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB )’s IPL victory at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru (June 4, 2025) turned into mourning when 11 people died and more than 47 people were injured in stampede when there were more than 47 people. A emotional video has surfaced of BT Laxman, father of 21 -year -old Bhumik Laxman, who lost his life in this painful accident. Bhoomik was a student of engineering
21 -year -old Bhoomik Laxman, who lost his life in the Bangalore stampede, was a last year student of Engineering and came with friends to be a part of the celebration outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The crowd suddenly became uncontrollable and he lost his life in the stampede. A total of 11 people, including a 14 -year -old girl, died in this accident.
Questions raised on administrative lapse
In fact, after the RCB’s IPL (IPL) victory on June 04, there was a celebration inside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, while outside people were putting their lives at risk to get a glimpse of their favorite cricketers. Questions arose that RCB celebrated the victory in a hurry, but the police and administration were not fully ready. The situation deteriorated so much that the Karnataka High Court had to intervene and the report of the accident has been summoned by June 10. Meanwhile, the BCCI has separated itself from this entire controversy.
