Actually, MP Rajiv Rai had left to catch his scheduled flight to Delhi to attend the winter session of Parliament, but before that he was stuck on the streets of Bengaluru for several hours.
Rajeev Rai, MP from Ghosi, Uttar Pradesh, was afraid of missing his flight, so he also tried to contact Bengaluru Police to get rid of this problem, but he claims that there was no response to his call from Bengaluru Police. He alleged that there was not a single traffic policeman present on the Bengaluru road to handle the heavy traffic jam.
SP MP expressed displeasure on social media
MP Rajeev Rai became very angry after being stuck in Bengaluru traffic for several hours. He expressed his anger through a post shared on social media platform X. During this, he targeted the Karnataka government and the state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He said that this city has become known for its terrible traffic. Along with this, he also termed the Bengaluru traffic police as useless and irresponsible.
MP Rajiv Rai said in his ex-post, “Chief Minister of Karnataka, I am sorry, but you have the worst traffic system and the traffic police is the most irresponsible and useless. They do not even pick up the phone. I have taken a screenshot of my attempts to talk to them, no one picked up my call.” He said that he was stuck at the same place on Rajkumar Samadhi Road for an hour and his flight was about to miss. He said, “Tomorrow Monday (December 1, 2025) I have to attend the Parliament session. Not a single policeman is visible around here. There is no doubt that the traffic in Bengaluru is now counted among the worst in the world.”
