Bharat Taxi: Now a new government taxi service like Ola-Uber is going to be started in the country, whose name is Bharat Taxi. This service has been started to overcome the problems that people face daily. Like ride cancellation, dirt, or arbitrary fare. Bharat Taxi will run completely on cooperative model.
That means drivers will not have to pay any commission to the company. All his earnings will go directly to him. The objective of the government is to provide better earnings to the drivers and provide reliable, safe and affordable cab services to the passengers. This step of the government can make a big difference to the business of private cab companies.
How will Bharat Taxi work?
Bharat Taxi is the country’s first cooperative taxi service. Which will be launched on a large scale from December. Its pilot project will start from Delhi in November. In which about 650 drivers and vehicles will be included. Gradually this service will also be available in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bhopal. Around 5000 drivers are going to join it by December.

This service will be operated by an organization named Sahakar Taxi and a council has been formed for this. Which is being led by Amul MD Jayen Mehta. Being a co-operative model, drivers will get 100 percent earning from every ride. That means their commission will not be deducted and no charges will have to be paid.
How to book Bharat Taxi through the app?
Using Bharat Taxi app will be as easy as Ola or Uber. Android users will be able to download it from Google Play Store and iPhone users will be able to download it from Apple Store. The app will be available in Hindi and English as well as Gujarati and Marathi. So that more and more people can use it.

In this, complete information about distance, fare and time will be visible to the passengers in advance. Drivers will get full fare for every ride. They just have to pay a nominal membership charge on daily, weekly or monthly basis. With this model, the income of drivers will increase and passengers will get good service at low cost. The government says that by next year this service will reach 20 big cities. How will the rent be paid? At present there is no information regarding this.
