Bharti Airtel q2 results 2025: Telecom company Bharti Airtel’s integrated net profit more than doubled to Rs 8,651 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year. The company’s profit increased mainly due to growth in high-paid smartphone subscribers and post-paid connections.
Last year, in the same quarter of 2024-25, the company had made a net profit of Rs 4,153.4 crore. Bharti Airtel Africa also reported a multifold increase in net profit during the quarter and it reached Rs 969 crore.
What did the company officer say?
Airtel said in the information given to the stock market that during the quarter, its operating income increased by 25.7 percent to Rs 52,145 crore. It was Rs 41,473.3 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Bharti Airtel’s average mobile revenue per subscriber increased by about 10 percent to Rs 256 in the September quarter of the current financial year. Which was Rs 233 in the same quarter a year ago.
Giving information on this subject, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel, Gopal Vittal said that, we have performed solid in another quarter. We have achieved consolidated revenue of Rs 52,145 crore on quarterly basis. This reflects the strength of our portfolio.
He said the African business performed well for another quarter with constant currency revenue growth of 7.1 percent. In rupee terms, Airtel Africa’s revenue stood at Rs 13,679.5 crore, a growth of nearly 36 per cent. Vittal said, India’s mobile business has recorded revenue growth of 2.6 per cent, adding 51 lakh smartphone customers and maintaining an ARPU of Rs 256, which is industry leading, due to continued focus on quality customers. The postpaid segment has recorded a high quarterly net growth of around Rs 10 lakh.
