Bhojpuri superstar and singer Pawan Singh is trapped in the legal paste. The Varanasi court has ordered a case against the actor. An application was filed in the district court on behalf of businessman Vishal Singh. It is alleged that Pawan Singh along with two more people had invested about 125 crore rupees to make a film. After the release of the film, the actor did not give him his share money.
This case is related to the 2018 film ‘Boss’, in which there was a Mendhokhadhi with Vishal Singh in the name of getting the investment done. Vishal Singh’s lawyer says that more than 1 crore rupees have been cheated. Chief Judicial Magistrate Varanasi has ordered a case against 4 people including Pawan Singh.
What is the whole matter?
Accusing Pawan Singh of cheating, Vishal Singh’s lawyer Rahul Dwivedi said- ‘Our client Vishal Singh is a businessman. He met Prem Shankar Rai in Mumbai. He is a film director. After that, he met many people to make his film. Then he said that you invest money, we will make a film and give you profit. After this, a meeting was held with Pawan Singh.
Did not give money after the film is a hit!
Advocate Rahul Dwivedi further said- ‘Pawan Singh also said, invest money and make a film. The film became and became a hit, but my client was not given money. Then my clients got upset and came to us. We went to the police station, there was no hearing. We have made the path of the court and now the court ordered it to file a case of fraud, considering it as correct.
Pawan Singh filed a case of fraud in Cantt police station
A district court in Varanasi passed this order against Pawan Singh on 13 August 2025 in the film investment scam. The court admitted that at first sight, the case of fraud and forgery on the accused proves to be. The District Court has ordered to file a case of cheating in the Cantt police station by taking cognizance under Section 173 (4) of the CRPC.
