Taking major action against former Samajwadi Party MLA Deep Narayan Yadav, the police and administration have attached immovable property worth about Rs 20 crore. This action has been taken in serious cases like Gangster Act, robbery and assault. Jhansi Police took this step on the orders of the District Magistrate Court.
According to the police, illegally acquired property was identified in the cases registered against the former MLA. After investigation, the administration has attached the property worth crores located near the Karguva temple behind the medical college and has also put up a notice board at the spot. It is being told that Deepnarayan Yadav is absconding since the incident of assault and robbery that took place in Month Kotwali area on November 21. In this case, action was taken against him under the Gangster Act, after which the police collected details of his properties and started the process of attachment.
Former MLA has been out of reach of police for a long time
According to police sources, Deepnarayan Yadav has been out of the reach of the police for a long time. However, he has filed a surrender application in the court, which is to be heard. At the same time, efforts for arrest by the police are continuing.

An associate has been arrested and sent to jail, this action is being considered by the administration as a strict message against crime and gangster networks. Officials say that property acquired through crime will not be spared under any circumstances and similar actions will continue in the future.
