In the investigation of the alleged scam related to Jal Jeevan Mission in Rajasthan, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) took a major action across the country on Tuesday morning and raided more than 15 locations. This action is being taken in various states including Jaipur, Barmer, Sikar and Jalore of Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar and Jharkhand.
According to sources, the ACB team has also raided the premises of retired IAS officer Subodh Aggarwal. The investigating agency has to interrogate him thoroughly. In this entire case, the premises of about 15 accused are being raided simultaneously. In the action taken so far, more than half a dozen accused have been detained.

According to media reports, among those who have been detained, the names of KD Gupta, Niril Kumar, Sushil Sharma, DK Gaur, Mahendra Soni, Vishal Saxena, Dinesh Goyal, Shubhanshu Dixit and Arun Srivastava have emerged. Sources say that ACB investigation is ongoing. Many more big officials can be arrested in this case.
This entire action is being taken under the direction of ACB Director General Govind Gupta and Additional Director General Smita Srivastava to investigate the scam in Jal Jeevan Mission. DIG Dr. Rameshwar Singh and SP Pushpendra Singh Rathore are supervising on the spot. It is noteworthy that SP Pushpendra Singh Rathore is also the chairman of the SIT of Jal Jeevan Mission Investigation Committee.
Officials busy scanning records of financial transactions
ACB teams are scanning documents, electronic devices and records related to financial transactions at various places. The investigation into irregularities and alleged financial irregularities in the work done under the Jal Jeevan Mission was going on for a long time, after which this coordinated action has been taken.
