RCB Victory Parade Stampede: The Central Administrative Tribunal has pronounced its verdict in the Bengaluru stampede case. CAT has convicted IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore in an investigation into the case. CAT said that RCB had not sought proper permission and consent from the police to perform this celebration ceremony in Bengaluru.
Cat’s big decision
According to the NDTV report, the Central Tribunal ruled that ‘RCB had not sought permission from the police properly. Suddenly, RCB was posted on social media platform and with this information, a large crowd gathered there. Due to lack of time, the police could not make complete preparations. Along with this, it was said on behalf of CAT that ‘the police cannot be expected to make all arrangements within about 12 hours in such a short time’.
RCB shared the post
The team of Royal Challengers Bangalore did not win any title in the last 17 seasons. At the same time, this 18th season of IPL was named after RCB. Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 final played on 3 June. After this, the RCB team celebrated its first win at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, while information was also given to remove the Victory Parade in Bangalore from the social media handle of RCB. The ongoing celebrations in Bengaluru turned into mourning, in which 11 people died and many were injured.
‘Police is no magician’
The police administration has been given a clean chit in this case on behalf of CAT and it has been said that ‘the police is also human, they are not God or any magician. These people do not have any powers like Aladdin’s lamp, which can fulfill all the desires of the people by just turning the finger on the lamp ‘.
