A shocking case related to the medical students of the country has come to light. It is reported that private data of about 1.38 lakh candidates taking NEET PG exam has been leaked. It is being told that this data is being sold online at a very cheap price, ie only 3,599. There has been a stir after this revelation on social media and resentment among the students is increasing.
The whole matter came to light when a candidate posted on Reddit claimed that data of NEET PG candidates is being sold on a Telegram channel. According to that user, the channel was advertised to sell data in 15,000 on the channel.
The candidate shared his own rank and details to check his information. He told that the one who sold the data, gave accurate information – his name, father’s name, email ID, mobile number and state came out to the state. This made it clear that the data leak is real.
Resentment of students also emerged on Twitter (X)
This is shocking! Private information of NEET PG students apps are being sold online. This is a serious violation of trust. The user further wrote that this incident has caused a betrayal of both the confidentiality and hard work of the students. He asked the NMC (National Medical Commission) and the IT company involved in this process, saying that both should be ashamed of this negligence.
Proof of data sales also came to the fore
Many users on social media have also shared the screenshot of the website where this data was put for sale. It was written on the website that the data of 1,38,456 NEET PG candidates is available in just 3,599. It is being told that the website also showed some data in public to win the trust of buyers.
After this revelation, there is anger among the NEET PG candidate and the doctor community across the country. Many people were already demanding transparency in the examination process, and now this leak has increased their concern.
Increased pressure on NBEMS
According to reports The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is now being questioned. In fact, the candidates have already filed a petition in the Supreme Court, in which they had demanded to make the examination process transparent, answer and make the question paper public.
Supreme Court seeks reply
The Supreme Court is already active in this whole case. On 26 September, the Supreme Court ordered the NBEMS to reply in two weeks. As per the scheduled time, the matter will be heard again on October 28.
