According to the report, about 28% of women jobs are in danger due to Artificial Intelligence (AI). While only 21% of men’s jobs will be affected. These figures indicate that in the rapidly growing world of technology, “gender digital divide” means digital inequality and deepening.
According to the report, a big opportunity can also be created for women in the coming time, but if steps are not taken now, then this inequality will increase further. The report said that the share of women in the technology sector of the world is still very low. In global tech workforce, women are only 29% and in technology leadership rolls, this figure decreases to only 14%.
2030 Agenda and Gender Equality
According to the United Nations report, the year 2025 is very important because after this only five years will be saved to complete the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) fixed for 2030. Among them, gender equality i.e. gender equality is also a big goal. The report has warned that the world is facing a new kind of change.
