With the new facility, passengers will be able to get tickets directly on the new date on the basis of seat availability. Yes, if the price of the new ticket is higher, then the difference will have to be paid. This change will provide relief to lakhs of passengers postponing their journey in emergency, and they will not have to spend a lot of money on tatkal tickets again and again.
