So many candidates took part in the examination
PCS Preliminary Exam 2025 was held on 12 October. 6,26,287 candidates had applied for this examination, but only 42.50% of these candidates appeared in the examination. That means only about half the candidates reached the examination centres.
A major reason for low attendance is believed to be that often the number of contestants in the prelims exam is high, but many people are not able to appear due to weak preparation or the exam center being far away. But now that there has been such a huge increase in the number of posts, the chances of selection for the candidates who have appeared in the examination have become even stronger.
