Former Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has attacked the Rekha Gupta government over its decision to close mohalla clinics in the national capital. He alleged that the BJP government is closing mohalla clinics, due to which hundreds of people have become unemployed. The AAP leader also said that Arvind Kejriwal had many times told the people of Delhi that if these people come, they will close all your facilities one by one. This was proved to be true and big leaders of BJP were turned out to be liars.
Saurabh Bhardwaj said in a press conference, “There was a time where governments used to give bonuses to their employees. Bonus was given on Diwali day. Parents used to get new clothes stitched for their children. Father used to take it, all the shirts and skirts of brothers and sisters were made in one place. Sweets were distributed, there was happiness and people used to buy new things. But such a wretched BJP government has come to Delhi that they have fired hundreds of people working in mohalla clinics during Diwali.

‘BJP government is closing 170 more mohalla clinics’
He further said, “Earlier in August they closed about 31 mohalla clinics and after that they have now decided to close 170 more mohalla clinics. This has happened when earlier the government was secretly firing the people of Mohalla Clinic by calling CDMOs. Got a call from MTS, okay don’t come from tomorrow.
‘Hundreds of people unemployed due to closure of 200 mohalla clinics’
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj also said, “By closing 200 mohalla clinics, you first rendered hundreds of people unemployed. When BJP was contesting Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal ji repeatedly told the people of Delhi that if these people come to power, they will close all your facilities one by one. At that time these people used to say that mohalla clinics would not be closed.
He also said, “Home Minister Amit Shah ji is going to the conclave every day, why is he not asked there that the promise you had made to the poor Purvanchalis turned out to be false.” No one is ready to ask even CM Rekha Gupta. How will this work.”
