If NDA forms government again in Bihar. So the income of farmers can increase. At present, farmers get Rs 6 thousand under PM Kisan Yojana. As soon as NDA government is formed in Bihar, this amount may not be Rs 6 but Rs 9 thousand.
This possibility has given a sigh of relief to the farmers. Because this will directly increase their annual income. Under PM Kisan Yojana, the central government sends Rs 2,000 to farmers three times a year. That means a total of Rs 6 thousand.
This money comes directly into the bank accounts. Now the question is how this amount will increase for the farmers of Bihar. So let us tell you the facts. During the election campaign, NDA had clearly said in its manifesto that in addition to the existing Rs 6,000, an additional Rs 3,000 will be given to the farmers. That means a total annual profit of Rs 9 thousand.
If this happens then farmers can get Rs 1,000 extra in every installment. In the resolution letter of NDA, this increased amount has been named Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi. Under this, along with the three installments of the Central Government, the State Government will also add Rs 1,000 each.
That means each installment will not be Rs 2 thousand but will be Rs 3 thousand. It has been said that this amount will be sent directly to the accounts of the farmers. About 73 lakh farmers in Bihar are associated with PM Kisan Yojana. If this promise is implemented then these farmers will directly benefit.
At present it is not clear whether farmers will have to make a separate application to get extra Rs 3 thousand or not. It is possible that farmers already taking benefits can be automatically included in this scheme. However, the situation will become completely clear only after the government is formed.
