Delhi High Court has given permission to Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav to go to Dubai despite being involved in a check bounce case. While hearing the case, the bench of Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma ordered that Rajpal Yadav can attend the Bihar Connect Global Diwali Celebration event to be held in Dubai from 17 to 20 October as a guest of honor.
Delhi High Court laid down an important condition
Delhi High Court, while giving permission to actor Rajpal Yadav, placed the condition that Yadav will have to deposit a fixed deposit receipt of Rs 1 lakh in the court registry. Also, they will have to provide their mobile number and email ID which will remain active during their stay in Dubai.
The court also directed that Yadav’s wife’s passport will be deposited in the trial court as security, while Rajpal Yadav will have to deposit his passport again in the court after his return to India. Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer said that this visit is being done on official invitation and the actor will follow all the instructions of the court. In this case, the lawyer of the complainant company Murali Projects also did not raise any objection to the yatra.
Delhi High Court has already given permission
This is not the first time that Delhi High Court has given permission to Rajpal Yadav to travel abroad. Earlier in June 2025, the Delhi High Court had given him permission to go to Australia where he participated in the promotional programs of his film Mera Kale Rang Da Yaar. During that time, the court had temporarily suspended his sentence and believed that Rajpal Yadav had made honest efforts towards a settlement with the company.
This case is related to a film financing deal, which was unsuccessful and resulted in financial loss. The matter is currently pending for mutual settlement in the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre.
