Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has taken a big and relief decision regarding Intermediate Practical Examination 2026. Keeping in mind the interest of the students, the board has extended the last date for practical examinations and online uploading of marks. Now all schools will have to complete this work by 13 February 2026. This decision has brought relief to thousands of students whose practical examinations in their schools had not yet been completed.
Earlier, the board had released the schedule of conducting inter practical examinations in two phases. The first phase of examinations was to be conducted from 24 January to 1 February 2026. The second phase was scheduled from 2 February to 9 February 2026. According to the plan, all the practical examinations were to be completed by February 9 and after that the marks were to be uploaded on the online portal.
Problems encountered in review
When the board reviewed the examination process, it came to light that practical examinations were still not completed in many schools. At some places, the examinations had been conducted, but their marks had not yet been entered in the online system. In such a situation, there was a possibility that the results of the students would be affected. In view of this problem, the board decided to extend the time limit.
Decision taken in the interest of students
UP Board has made it clear that this decision has been taken completely in the interest of the students. The board does not want the result of any student to be spoiled merely due to technical or administrative reasons. By increasing the deadline, schools will also get a chance to fulfill their responsibilities and students will be able to prepare for further studies without any worry.
Mandatory upload by 13th February
While setting a new deadline, the board has given clear instructions that all practical examinations should be completed by 13 February 2026. Along with this, marks of all the students should be compulsorily uploaded on the official website of the board. Any kind of laxity will not be tolerated in this work.
Board Secretary’s strict message
UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has issued clear instructions to all examiners and school principals in this regard. He has said that all pending practical examinations should be completed within the stipulated time limit and the marks should be uploaded on time. The board has made it clear that now any kind of negligence will not be accepted.
