For every extra hour of screen time, the studies of younger children were decreasing by 9% and the math marks of older students were decreasing by 10%. However, there is not much difference on writing skills. Teachers say that now children are not able to concentrate on one thing for long.
sleep is also affected
According to experts, spending more time on screen also affects sleep. Sitting for long periods of time and consuming content with excessive light or rapidly changing colors and sounds tires children’s brain. Especially the brain of children below eight years of age is very sensitive.
