Sunny Deol’s film ‘Border 2’ is releasing in theaters today, 23 January, but just before the release, a big issue related to the film has come to light. Distributors and theater owners across the country are angry that they have not yet received the digital copy of the film. Usually this process is completed before the release, but this time due to the delay the morning shows are in danger. Most concern is being expressed especially regarding the morning show.

Border 2 delayed?
Digital delivery platforms including UFO Movies have informed theater owners and regional distributors that there may be further delays in the download process. According to the report of Film Information, a senior source from the film industry said that the final content of the film was expected to be available around midnight, but considering the current situation, it seems very difficult to have a morning show.

The report also states that UFO Movies has officially informed the theater owners about this delay through WhatsApp message. It is said in the message that the download of the film will start on January 23 at around 6:30 am and everyone is requested to keep their systems running. The message read, “Dear All, Border 2 download will start on January 23, 2026 at 6:30 am. Please keep the system running, thank you UFO Movies.” After this information, the concern of theaters which had already booked morning shows has increased.

Is Border 2 morning show cancelled?
If the download starts only at 6:30 in the morning, then it is not clear whether the theaters will be able to complete the entire process on time or not. In many places, downloading and testing takes hours, so there is a possibility of the first show being canceled or delayed. However, till now there has been no official statement from the film producers or distributors regarding any change in the release planning.
