Chhattisgarh has achieved great success in the war against Naxalites. In Khairagarh district of Durg division, 12 Naxalites including CC member Ramder Majji have surrendered. All the Naxalites have surrendered with their weapons at Bakarkatta police station. These 12 Naxalites also include 6 women Naxalites.
A reward of Rs 1 crore was announced on CC member Ramder. After Hidma, he was the second biggest Naxalite leader of Chhattisgarh, who has laid down his arms. This surrender has dealt a big blow to the Maoist organization.
According to the information received, 12 Naxalites have surrendered early today (December 8) in Kumhi village of Bakarkatta police station area of Khairagarh district. All 12 Naxalites have left the path of violence with weapons and returned to the mainstream.
CC member Ramder Majji, carrying a reward of Rs 1 crore, is also included among those who surrendered. Those who surrendered include CCM, DVCM, ACM and PM level members. Crimes related to involvement in serious Naxalite incidents are also registered against many Naxalites in the police stations of MMC zone.
