Doubtful to play in the opening match
India’s first match in the T20 World Cup is on 7th February, but considering the current situation, it is considered difficult for Sundar to participate in that match. His fitness will be re-assessed in the first week of February. Only after this will it be decided whether he is completing the ‘Return to Play’ protocol or not.
