The marriage of Indian cricket star player Smriti Mandhana and musician Palash Muchhal is once again in the news. After which he had to be admitted to the hospital in Sangli. During this time, Palash’s health also deteriorated and he too had to be admitted. Although both have now been discharged and have come home, there is curiosity among the fans about the new date of marriage.
Smriti’s brother broke his silence
Meanwhile, a new date, December 7, started going viral on social media from Tuesday. Many users started posting it as ‘confirmed date’, but no official information was given by the family on this. Now Smriti’s brother Shravan Mandhana has openly declared these reports wrong.
While talking to Hindustan Times, he said, “I have no idea about these dates. The wedding has been postponed till now. The matter of new date is purely a rumour.” After this statement it became clear that this viral date of December was just a social media discussion.
Mother Amita Muchhal expressed hope
Palash’s mother Amita Muchhal also told in an interview that this sudden incident has had a huge impact on both the families. He said that Smriti and Palash are very upset with this whole matter.
Amita told, “Both Smriti and Palash are in pain… Everything was ready, I had even planned a special welcome for Smriti. However, everything will be fine now, the marriage will happen very soon.”
Sunil Shetty praised Jemimah
Meanwhile, Smriti’s close friend and Team India player Jemimah Rodrigues has also taken a big decision. He withdrew from the WBBL season to be with Smriti. Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty praised Jemimah’s example of friendship. He wrote on X that this is an example of “the truest friendship”. Without saying anything big, just supporting silently.
