This actress-poet revealed that her father saved her life in time otherwise anything could have happened. Priya has shared a post on Instagram and revealed the heart-wrenching incident that happened to her on the night of Diwali.

Sharing the horrifying ordeal on Instagram on October 21, Priya wrote, “I was taking a picture with my neighbors and before I knew it, I saw flames rising from my right shoulder and realized that my entire back was burning and I am not talking about a small fire, but huge flames. Thankfully, my father managed to tear off the burning clothes because the burns were very serious.” This was the only way to escape, but this incident has deeply shocked me and our family.”
In her emotional note, the Bigg Boss 9 fame talked about how quickly things can go wrong even after taking precautions. He wrote, “While everyone talks about fire safety and thinks that such accidents can never happen to them, last night I realized how even a small carelessness could have taken my life.”
The actress is in shock
She further added, “My dad was a hero in that moment. I am fine, I have minor burns on my shoulders, back and fingers. I don’t know how I escaped without any further damage, but this incident has probably left me with the Diwali trauma forever.” The actress also expressed relief that her child was not in her lap at the time of the accident. She said, “Please take care of yourself in such times and most importantly, I am glad that I was not holding my child when this happened. I will probably celebrate next year too, but this is a lesson for life.”
Let us tell you that Priya Malik, who gained fame from Bigg Boss 9, married entrepreneur Karan Bakshi in a Gurudwara ceremony in Delhi in 2022. The couple welcomed their son Zoravar on March 31, 2024.
