Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 will start from 6 November. The Election Commission gave information about this through a press conference on Monday (October 6). The election will be held in two phases and all the parties have already started preparations for this. Ethnic equations will matter a lot in Bihar elections. Before the Bihar elections, all the leaders including Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav and Prashant Kishore are engaged in wooing the voters. According to the report of ‘Times of India’, 15.38 percent of the voters in Bihar are of general category. This vote bank is generally considered to be of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the BJP is contesting elections with Nitish Kumar this time. They are both part of the NDA. So they can get the benefit of this.
The highest number of voters in Bihar are 36.1 percent of the backward class. At the same time, 27.13 percent of the votes are from Backward Class (OBC). If 19.65 percent are Dalit voters. While 1.68 percent of the votes are from tribal society.

The general category includes Brahmins, Rajputs, Bhumihar and Baniya as well as some other castes. This vote bank belongs to BJP. Janata Dal United can also benefit from this. Bihar has 3.65 percent Brahmins, 2.87 percent Bhumihar and 3.45 percent Rajput voters.
Tejashwi Yadav’s party will try to help the Rashtriya Janata Dal Yadav-Muslim equation. Bihar has 14 percent Yadav and 17 percent Muslim vote banks. Bihar will be voted in two phases on November 6 and 11 and counting will be held on 14 November. This time the Election Commission has made many small and big changes about the election. Under this, for the first time, counters will be available for depositing mobile phones outside all polling stations. The number of voters at each polling station has also been limited to 1,200 to avoid congestion.
