Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: ‘Showed Rahul Gandhi his place’, what did BJP say about the press conference of Grand Alliance?

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav can be declared the face of the Chief Minister’s post in the press conference of the Grand Alliance in Patna. Regarding this, BJP has targeted Congress and said that the picture of their leader Rahul Gandhi is missing from the posters of the press conference.

There is only Tejashwi Yadav’s picture on the posters. Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot, who has reached Patna to resolve differences between RJD and Congress during seat sharing talks, is likely to attend the press conference along with Tejashwi Yadav.

‘The honor of Rahul Gandhi and Congress was stolen’
BJP has taken a dig at the absence of Rahul Gandhi’s picture on the press conference poster. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala posted on Twitter and said, “Joint press conference? But only one picture. ‘Honor’ stolen from Rahul Gandhi and Congress. Showed Congress and Rahul their place?”

Let us tell you that the term honor theft is based on Rahul Gandhi’s ‘vote theft’ campaign, in which the Election Commission has been accused of large-scale electoral irregularities in collusion with the BJP. However, the Election Commission has rejected this allegation.

Poonawala’s claim regarding RJD-Congress
Poonawala also claimed that RJD has threatened Congress to make Tejashwi Yadav its face. He further said that RJD has given an intimidating threat to its ally party, saying that if it does not agree, it will make Congress’s seat zero. He said that Rahul’s manly bravery is something else altogether, if the alliance partners are threatened, then imagine what will happen to the public.

Discord in RJD-Congress seat sharing!
The seat sharing between RJD and Congress came to a halt when both the parties remained adamant on contesting elections on some seats. Congress demanded to contest elections on more seats. Due to this, both the parties announced their candidates on some seats. Such friendly contests can lead to division of opposition votes and benefit BJP-JDU candidates. Gehlot has been sent to Patna by Congress only to deal with this crisis.
