A big and important news has come out for lakhs of students appearing for intermediate examination from Bihar Board. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the admit card for Inter Annual Theory Examination 2026. The board has made it clear that these admit cards are now final and no changes will be made in them. Both students and schools have been advised to take special care of this matter.
According to the information released by the board, the admit cards of Inter Exam 2026 have been uploaded on the official website intermediate.biharboardonline.com. However, students will not be able to download them themselves. This responsibility will entirely rest with the head of their school or college. The head of the school will download the admit card by logging into the website with his user ID and password. After this, they will be signed and sealed by the school and handed over to the students. The board has also said that admit cards can be downloaded till February 1, 2026.
Bihar Board has taken this step so that any kind of irregularities related to admit card can be avoided. The board had already issued dummy admit cards to the students. At that time students were given full opportunity to correct mistakes in name, date of birth, subject and other information. The final admit cards have now been issued for those students or schools who had made improvements in time.
Admit card will not be changed
The board has bluntly said that now no changes will be made in the admit card. Neither the name will be corrected, nor the subject will be changed, nor will any other information be amended. If any school or center superintendent tries to make changes against the rules, then strict action will be taken against him. Not only this, in such a case the examination result of the concerned student can also be withheld.
This time the board has given strict instructions that only those students who have passed the sent-up examination will be able to appear in the main examination. Students who have failed in the sit-up examination, have not appeared in the examination or have remained absent will not be allowed to appear in the Inter main examination. The board has given clear instructions to school and college heads not to issue admit cards of such students under any circumstances.
This will be considered negligence
If any school ignores the rules and issues the admit card to a student who has failed or is absent in the sent-up examination, it will be considered as grave negligence. The entire responsibility for this will be on both the school head and the students. The board has also said that in such cases, action can also be taken against the school concerned.
Bihar Board has also made special arrangements for disabled students. For those students who have difficulty in writing, the facility of Shruti Likhar i.e. Writer has been provided. With this, disabled candidates will be able to take the exam without any stress. The board says that necessary guidelines regarding this facility have been sent to all the centres.

The board has advised the students to check all the information entered in the admit card carefully after receiving it. Read the exam center name, roll number, subject and exam date carefully. Keep the admit card safe, because without the admit card no student will be allowed to enter the examination center on the day of examination.
