Kolkata Gang Rape: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (Nitish Kumar) has received a reaction from LLB student in the gang rape case in Kolkata. On Monday (June 30, 2025), JDU leader Neeraj Kumar said on the matter that the arrest of the accused is not the responsibility of the government because if it is related to a political party, TMC should not only take disciplinary action but the public expects that you decide the charge sheet within the time limit. Do speedy trials, so that the hope of getting justice remains intact.

Neeraj Kumar further said, “When the judiciary punishes her, people get relaxed and trust. Mamta Banerjee is a woman Chief Minister, do not decide the political agenda on such a subject. Do not decide the political agenda on such a subject. Such a social priest is connected to a party, religion or caste, a complete action should be taken against her and this action should be seen.”

What is the matter?

On June 25, the case came to light that two senior students and an alumni have been gangraped along with a student of first year of South Kolkata Law College. As soon as information about this came out, the opposition is raising questions on Mamta Banerjee’s government. Questions are being raised on the law and order of Bengal. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court in this case and a CBI inquiry has been demanded under the supervision of the court. SIT has been formed for investigation. Many accused have been arrested.

BJP’s four -member team reached Kolkata

On the other hand, a four -member ‘factual team’ formed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the gangrape case reached Kolkata on Monday morning. The team members include former Union Ministers Satpal Singh, Meenakshi Lekhi and MP Viplav Kumar Deb and Manan Kumar Mishra.
