The department has now shown strictness on the strike of contract workers restored for special land survey in Bihar. Amid this strike, which started from August 16, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has issued a clear warning that the personnel who do not return to work till 5 pm on August 30 will be shown the way out of the job.
The Directorate of Land Records and the Circle have appealed to the striking contract workers to immediately return to their respective offices and submit a letter of contribution. The department has made it clear that those returning after August 30 will not get any chance. The employees who return by the time time, only the department will consider them further.
So far 383 personnel dismissal
The department has already taken action regarding the strike. A total of 383 special survey contract workers have been dismissed so far. The department has also made it clear that no sympathy or consideration will be done on these dismissed personnel.
The biggest demand of the contractual contract workers is to regularize the service or the contract period up to 60 years. But the department has rejected it outright. The department says that there is neither such a provision nor is there a possibility of considering it.
The department has also told the striking personnel that the news that is being spread about positive talks with the government is completely false. Some leaders are recovering donations in the name of strike. In such a situation, the personnel have been appealed not to pay attention to the rumors and contribute to their work as soon as possible.
Strike continued from 16 August
Please tell that since August 16, special survey contract workers from across the state are on strike. This strike started with the introduction of the Revenue Maha Abhiyan (from 16 August to 20 September).
About 13 thousand contract workers are involved in the strike. Among them, Special Survey Assistant Settlement Officer, Kanungo, Amin and Clerk are employees working in posts.
2087 returned work, 376 did not go on strike
According to departmental data, so far 2087 contract workers have returned from the strike and contributed to work. At the same time, there are 376 personnel working in various posts who did not go on strike from the beginning. The department has assured to consider these returned and non-Hardali workers.
