Purification of voter list after 22 years
In a press conference held in Patna after the visit of Bihar, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar said on Sunday that the voter list has been purified after 22 years due to special intensive revision in Bihar. He said that many new initiatives are being taken for the upcoming assembly elections, which will be repeated in the whole country in the coming time.

Voting was held in three phases in 2020

Please tell that in 2020, Bihar assembly elections were held in three phases. In the first phase, voting was held for 71 assembly seats on 28 October 2020, while in the second phase, 94 seats on November 3 and 78 seats in the third phase were held on 78 seats. The counting of votes took place on 10 November.

Which party got how many seats?

Talking about the last assembly election, RJD emerged as the largest party in 2020, won 75 seats, while BJP won 74 seats and became the second largest party. After this, Nitish Kumar’s JDU got 43 seats. Congress won 19, CPIML 12, Owaisi’s party AIMIM, 4 to Jitan Ram Manjhi, 4 to Mukesh Sahni’s VIP, 2 to CPI, 2 to 2, 2 to CPIM, 1 to Mayawati’s party BSP, 1 to 1, LJP 1 and Independent.
