The seat sharing has finally been announced in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regarding Bihar Assembly elections 2025. However, after this announcement, Upendra Kushwaha, chief of NDA’s ally Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), appeared upset.

Upendra Kushwaha, after getting less seats than expected, wrote an emotional post on the social media platform ‘X’, which intensified the political stir.

The number of seats could not be decided as per the wish – Upendra Kushwaha

Upendra Kushwaha wrote in his post – “Dear friends and colleagues, I apologize to all of you. The number of seats could not be decided as per your wish. I know that thousands and lakhs of workers would have been disappointed by this decision. Even food would not have been cooked in many homes today. But I hope that all of you will understand my and the party’s helplessness.”

Be patient, time will tell you everything – Kushwaha

He further wrote, “Behind any decision, there are some circumstances which are visible to everyone and there are some which are not visible. I know that many of you may be feeling angry towards me, which is natural. But all I want to say is that have some patience, let the anger subside – then you yourself will feel how right or wrong the decision was. The time to come will itself tell everything.”

A new round of discussion is about to begin in Bihar politics.

This emotional reaction of Kushwaha has started a new round of discussion in the politics of Bihar. It is believed that he is extremely dissatisfied with the number of seats, but for now he wants to assess the situation by staying within the NDA.

Actually, according to the seat sharing formula of NDA, both BJP and JDU will contest elections on 101-101 seats. At the same time, LJP (Ram Vilas) has got 29 seats, while Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) have been given the opportunity to contest elections on 6 seats each. BJP’s election in-charge and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also posted on ‘X’ and said, “NDA colleagues have completed the distribution of seats in a cordial atmosphere.”
