Counting of votes continues in Bihar Assembly elections, but the trends in the first two hours left everyone breathless. First of all, Jansuraj created a stir by taking the first trend in his name, but NDA seemed to prove the claims of exit polls correct by gaining a one-sided lead. After this, the grand alliance suddenly showed momentum and gave a tough fight, but now the contest seems to be one-sided. Let us know how were the first two hours of counting of votes for Bihar Assembly elections? What was the condition of which party during this period?
NDA continuously ahead, never backward
Talking about the trends of the first two hours, NDA justified the claims made in all the exit polls. This alliance gained the lead in the beginning and maintained it till 10 am. However, when the trends showed a tie between the NDA and the Grand Alliance on 91-91 seats, the excitement increased, but this happiness evaporated within a few moments and the NDA again took the lead. However, it is a fact that despite these ups and downs, NDA has not lagged behind any party even once. Till the time of writing the news, NDA is leading on 156 seats.
BJP is the largest party in NDA
It is said that after entering any field, BJP first makes the regional party its ‘elder brother’ and later gradually comes into the role of ‘elder brother’ itself. Something similar is visible in the initial trends of Bihar Assembly elections. In fact, till the time of writing this news, BJP is leading on 78 seats. With this, BJP seems to be becoming not only NDA but also the biggest party in Bihar Assembly elections 2025. According to this, the party seems to be winning more seats than the 74 seats in 2020.
JDU improved its previous performance
Even though JDU had succeeded in forming the government with BJP in the 2020 assembly elections, it was left at the third position in terms of seats. In the 2020 assembly elections, JDU had won only 43 seats. Now the party seems to be improving its previous performance in the 2025 assembly elections and till 10 am, JDU is leading on 69 seats.
Will RJD become the largest party?
If we talk about the last 3 assembly elections i.e. 15 years of Bihar politics, RJD emerged as the largest party every time. In the 2010 assembly elections, RJD had won 115 seats, while in the 2015 elections the party had won 80 seats. Apart from this, even though NDA formed the government in the 2020 assembly elections, RJD was at the first position with 75 seats. However, RJD does not seem to repeat its performance in the 2025 elections. In the trends till 10 am, RJD is leading in only 64 seats.
bad condition of congress
The condition of Congress looks very bad in the 2025 assembly elections. The party had fielded candidates on 61 seats, but till 10 am, it was leading on only 12 seats. This performance of Congress is worse than the results of 2020, because during that time the party had won 19 seats.
